The InclusiveFuture 3-Day International Mobility in Reus
The InclusiveFuture 3-Day International Mobility in Reus
The event took place from May 5th to May 7th, 2026. The mobility was hosted by Open Europe in Reus (Catalonia, Spain).
This capacity-building event brought together a diverse transnational group of educators, school directors, and pedagogical experts representing partner organisations from eight European countries: Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and Türkiye.
The Objective
The primary objective of the international training in Reus, Spain, was to empower educators to become active “Change Agents”. By shifting the focus from theoretical concepts to hands-on implementation, the event aimed to equip teachers and school leaders with the practical tools and confidence necessary to bring the Inclusive Pedagogical Model and the European GreenComp framework into their everyday classrooms.
The Participants & Target Group
The mobility event successfully brought together a diverse, transnational cohort of 30 participants. The primary target group consisted of school teachers and school directors from across the partner countries, who were joined by accompanying pedagogical experts from the InclusiveFuture consortium.
The Sessions & Topics Covered
The training moved away from heavy theoretical lectures, focusing instead on practical, non-formal learning methodologies.
Key topics and sessions included:
- GreenComp in Action: Deep dives into the European Sustainability Competence Framework and sharing good practices.
- Applying the MOOC: Strategies for transferring the theoretical concepts learned online into concrete classroom practice.
- Micro-Teaching Simulations: Peer-to-peer workshops where educators practiced designing and delivering inclusive sustainability mini-lessons.
- Inclusive Learning Environments: Applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to ensure sustainability education is accessible to all vulnerable learners.
- Innovative Assessment: Exploring alternative, inclusive methods for evaluating student competences in sustainability.
Looking Ahead
The Cascade Effect The training in Reus marks the beginning of the project’s crucial “cascade effect”. The Change Agents will now return to their home countries to multiply this shared European knowledge locally.
